Brad Smith Brad Smith became Intuit’s president and chief executive officer in January 2008, culminating a five-year rise through the company in which he successfully led each of its major businesses. Upon assuming his new position, Brad outlined three priorities for Intuit’s continued growth: rigorous portfolio management, unleashing the power of Intuit’s ecosystem, and global expansion. The power of Intuit’s ecosystem is built on its legacy of innovation that has produced large user bases. By unleashing the insights and contributions of millions of end users, Brad intends to drive innovation in all its forms - customer-driven, business model-driven, technology-driven and market-driven - to new levels. And finally, Brad is taking a global approach to marketing Intuit’s products and services.

Before being named CEO, Brad was senior vice president and general manager of Intuit's Small Business Division. Appointed to this position in May 2006, Brad was responsible for the company’s portfolio of QuickBooks, Quicken and Payroll products, serving 7 million small businesses and producing $1.1 billion in revenue.
